On October 12, 2023, the graduates of the Addictions and Mental Health and Gerontology – Interprofessional Practice programs celebrated their convocation!

Convocation is a moment for students to come together with their loved ones to appreciate the culmination of their hard work. It is an opportunity to put on the red and white graduation gown and walk to the stage to receive their well-deserved certificate. It is a time to be thankful for the time spent as a student and to be hopeful for what is to come next.

At Fanshawe convocation you could see students hugging their loved ones, bright smiles on their faces, taking photos and holding flowers. Celebratory cheers erupted from the audience as each student walked on stage after hearing their name. Everyone from students, guests, faculty and staff soaked up the emotion of the moment and shared a great time together.

We recognize the effort and dedication our students poured into their studies at Fanshawe, and we thank them for choosing us and letting us be part of their journey.
